CAREERS · 2 OPEN ROLES · FULLY REMOTE

Own the whole funnel. Make the ads that fill it.

We've worked only with pet brands for nearly ten years. Now we need a Fractional CMO to run growth for 8 to 10 client brands, from the first click to the repeat order. We also need a Creative Strategist to design and edit their ads. Both roles are fully remote.

01 / HOW WE WORK

What it's like here.

01
Pet brands only
Every client we take is a pet brand. You won't start from zero on the category. You get our playbooks and a team that already knows how pet buyers shop.
02
One owner, every channel
We used to split Meta, Google, email and website builds across separate specialists. The Fractional CMO role puts paid, email and the site in one person's hands for each brand they run. A Creative Strategist makes the ads, and our designers build the emails from the CMO's briefs.
03
AI does the first draft
Our team built its own AI tools, mostly on Claude. They pull account data, draft first passes of plans and copy, mock up pages and flag what needs attention. You check the work and make the call. Nothing reaches a client or goes live until a person signs off.
04
We keep our word
Catch the problem before the client does and fix it for good. We do what we said, when we said it. Some weeks that means a late night, and we'd rather tell you now.

What Fractional CMO means here

  • Each brand gets a share of your week. On every one, you write the plan and you run the accounts yourself.
  • We used to split Meta, Google, email and website builds across separate specialists. This role brings all of it under one owner, so the person reading the numbers is the person changing the account.
  • Here's what makes 8 to 10 brands workable. Reporting is scripted, with spend from the ad platforms and revenue from Shopify. AI tools our team built, mostly on Claude, draft first passes of plans, copy, updates and page mockups. A Creative Strategist makes the ads from creator footage, and our designers build the emails from your briefs.
  • On every new brand you run the same Diagnose, Install, Scale playbook we sell to clients. A 12-month data audit comes first. Then ads, pages, flows and tracking go live, and you grow what's working.

What you'll own

  • Paid media on Meta, TikTok and Google. Account structure, budgets, testing and daily pacing.
  • Klaviyo email and SMS. Flows, segments and the monthly email calendar. You plan the month and write the copy with our email SOP and Claude-based tools. Our designers build the emails from your briefs, and you set them up in Klaviyo.
  • The Shopify site. Product pages, landing pages, bundles and CRO tests, built as native Shopify sections the client can edit.
  • Creative direction. Brief the Creative Strategist, mock up ideas in Claude and Higgsfield, and decide what runs.
  • The numbers. MER, new-customer CAC, conversion rate and email share of revenue, with revenue taken from Shopify, not ad dashboards.

A normal week

  • Every day. Pacing and anomaly checks across every ad account in your book.
  • Every week. A written update per brand with spend, revenue, MER, new customers and cost per new customer. Then what shipped and what's next.
  • Through the week. New creative into testing, Google search-term and bid cleanup, site and CRO work, and client calls.
  • Every month. For each brand, plan the email calendar, merge in the client's ideas and get the calendar approved. Then draft the month's emails with our Claude-based tools and get the client's OK on the copy and overall feel. Our designers build the emails from your approved drafts, and you load them into Klaviyo, send the client final previews and schedule the sends. At month end, a report on what the emails made.
  • Every quarter. Re-audit flows and segments, reset each brand's targets, and tell the founder plainly what has to change before spend can grow.

By day 90

  • Every brand in your book has a written growth plan, and its founder has heard it from you.
  • Your weekly updates go out on time, in plain English, with a number behind every claim.
  • Each brand has fresh creative in testing and an approved email calendar, and nobody had to chase you for either.
  • Your priority brands each have a shipped win with a before and after, like a page that raised conversion rate or a flow that grew repeat revenue.
  • Founders act on your calls.

You're a fit if

  • You've run Meta yourself for several ecommerce brands at once and owned the results, from building accounts from scratch to scaling them.
  • You've run TikTok Ads and Google Ads too, even if Meta is your strongest.
  • You've run Klaviyo email and SMS yourself and can show the revenue your flows, campaigns and segments brought in.
  • You can plan a month of email campaigns for a brand and write copy and briefs a designer can build from.
  • You've run Shopify page tests and can say what moved conversion rate and what didn't.
  • You judge a brand on MER, new-customer CAC and margin before platform ROAS.
  • You write hooks, headlines and ad copy that sell.
  • Claude or a similar AI tool is already in your daily work, and you check what it gives you.
  • Bonus points. Shopify theme code, server-side tracking with the Conversions API and GA4, and pet or subscription brands.

Not a fit if

  • You want to go deep on one channel and leave the rest to someone else.
  • You'd rather set strategy and leave the accounts, the copy and the client follow-through to someone else.
  • Open rate or platform ROAS is how you prove you're good.
  • Client calls drain you.
  • You can't be online for most of the 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern window.

Tools, pay and setup

  • Tools. Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, Google Ads, Klaviyo, Shopify, Claude, Higgsfield, Google Workspace, Slack and Asana.
  • Pay. Competitive salary with solid performance bonuses.
  • Fully remote. Available 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern, with some flexibility.
  • Onboarding on our playbooks and SOPs in your first weeks. Room to lead a team as the agency grows.
Creative Strategist You make the ads. Statics and video for pet brands, cut from creator footage and judged on what they sell. This is a hands-on design and editing role. READ THE FULL ROLE +CLOSE THE ROLE − CREATIVE REMOTE · 9 TO 5 ET +

What Creative Strategist means here

  • At a lot of agencies a creative strategist writes the brief and someone else makes the ad. Here you make it. Design and editing are the job, and strategy is how you decide what to make next.
  • You work alongside the Fractional CMO who runs each brand. They bring the brief and the numbers, and you bring back ads they didn't think to ask for.
  • Footage comes from our network of pet creators, and you use Higgsfield and Claude where they make you faster.

What you'll make

  • Static ads, start to finish. Pick the angle, write the on-image headline, design it and export every size we run (9:16, 4:5, 1:1).
  • Video ads from raw creator footage. One shoot becomes several cuts with different openings, from a tight 15 to 20 second cut for new customers to a longer one for retargeting.
  • Openings and endings. Strongest frame first, product on screen early, captions that work with the sound off, and an end card with a product shot and a clear next step.
  • Iterations on winners. New hooks, openers, thumbnails and calls to action, one or two changes at a time so we know what moved the number.
  • AI assets. Statics, product shots and short clips in Higgsfield, always built on the real product photo and checked letter by letter. AI clips are never passed off as real customers.
  • Files ready to upload. Claims match the label and reviews are real. Every file is named and sized to go live as is.

A normal week

  • Start of the week. Briefs from the Fractional CMO who runs each brand, plus last week's numbers on your own ads. You pick what to iterate and what to try fresh.
  • Most days. Design statics, cut creator footage into hook variations, and make and check AI assets.
  • When footage lands. Watch all of it, pull the best moments and flag anything unusable.
  • Before anything ships. Read every word on every frame. Check the label, captions, safe zones and sizes.

By day 90

  • You know each brand's products, customers and past winners cold.
  • Your files go live without a fix-up round, and the CMO asks for your ideas before writing the brief.
  • You have winners of your own, you can explain why each one won, and your next batch builds on what you learned.
  • A batch from you spreads across different angles and styles. Nobody would mistake it for one template in five colors.

You're a fit if

  • You have a portfolio of static and video ads you made yourself for ecommerce or DTC brands. Performance ads, not brand films.
  • Your statics read in a second on a phone, because your layout and type are strong.
  • You edit raw UGC-style footage fast and clean, with pacing and captions that hold attention.
  • You know what hook rate, CTR and cost per purchase mean, and you've changed your work because of them.
  • You use AI image and video tools on paid work and catch their mistakes, like garbled text and warped labels.
  • You turn feedback around the same day.
  • Bonus points. Higgsfield, motion graphics or After Effects, writing your own hooks and ad copy, and pet brands in your portfolio.

Not a fit if

  • You want to concept and brief while someone else designs and edits.
  • You need weeks per piece. You'll ship finished ads every week across several brands.
  • You stop caring about an ad once it ships.
  • You think AI makes the ad for you. It makes you faster, but your eye decides what runs.
  • You can't be online for most of the 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern window.

Tools, pay and setup

  • Tools. Figma or Photoshop, your video editor of choice (Premiere, After Effects, CapCut or DaVinci Resolve), Higgsfield, Claude, Google Drive, Slack and Asana.
  • Pay. Competitive salary.
  • Fully remote. Available 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern, with some flexibility.
  • Onboarding on how we brief and test ads.
