I thought this was super interesting and relatable to airports.
It looks like Petsense (an ecommerce brand) set up a scrolling homepage including an affiliate system selling pet parents local Grooming services.
Petsense drives 30k+ unique visits to their site each month through various traffic sources. Why not let them shop around why they are there.
Airports do this while you’re waiting for your flight. They offer drinks, snacks, etc… because you’re stuck waiting for your flight for 2-4 hours. It’s traffic that would be there anyways and they are capitalizing on it.
