Consumers were asked to pick the advertisement they trusted more.
The survey concluded that 86% of consumers, in the U.S. and U.K., on average, find ads more trustworthy when the Trustpilot trust mark is present vs. having an advertisement with no trust mark.
Do not sleep on your ad comments. If your ad results drop suddenly check your comments.
It also can supercharge your ads profitability if you get testimonials in the comments or say controversial things to increase your engagement.
I found that bad comments can actually be a good thing if answered in the right way by your brand.
Person: "But dog beds get wet and stinky...I know this would be exactly the same so it is crazy you would even be promoting this to me. You are just like the other brands out there."
Brand: "Our beds are waterproof and machine washable. That's why we have thousands of 5 Star reviews on Trust Pilot...."
